Macro w/ Oil
This weekend I decided to try to get a bit creative with the macro lens. I setup a vase with jelly beans at the bottom, a cd case on top with some oil drops from an eye dropper. Using the 180mm Macro lens mounted on a tripod and shooting directly down through the seen. This is the result. I can’t wait to try this again soon, as it is fun and I already have a few other ideas for backgrounds, etc. Hope you enjoy it!
Phun w/ the iPhone
As I sit in Logan Airport waiting for my flight back to Phoenix, I wonder how to start my photo blog. I’m not much for writing down my thoughts and am really only doing this to chronical my journey with photography. Since this is a work trip and I didn’t bring my camera along, the list of images available to post is limited. It turns out I have a few on my iPhone that I have yet to look at and one stands out. Last weekend our family tried to take a trip to Prescott for Father’s Day and were thwarted by an accident on the I17. Realizing that I wouldn’t be taking my “real” camera out on this trip, I grabbed the iPhone and starting playing around. They make some great photography apps for the iPhone and this one was processed with Photo fx 3.5′s pencil filter. I hope you enjoy it!
